Toot kar chaha tha jisay wohi dhoka day jaye ga,
Bina kashti kay musafir kesay sahil tak aaye ga.

Sukhay patton ki tarah yun bikhar jaye gi zindagi apni,
Socha na tha yeah waqt humain is mor pe bhi laye ga.

Main ne chand ki tamana main,ganwa diye taaray bhi,
is oonchi udan main kahan maloom tha kah kafila hi chut jaye ga.

apni hi lagai aag main apna hi wajood jal jaye ga,
kis ko khabar thi yeah waqt bhi hum pe aaye ga.

jub raigistan ki rait hi apna mukadar thi tu,
kyon soocha hum nay kah hamain woh mil jaye ga.

apnay hi banaye jaal main shikari khud hi qaid ho jaye ga,
koi yon bhi bhala apna mukadar likhwaye ga.

zindagi tapti dhoop kay tale yun hi chali ja rahi hai,
kiya ab koi pani pilanay wala nahi aaye ga...
