Video Of Flying Horse In Jeddah Sky Is Hoax

This video is currently going viral on the internet, which shows a flying horse in Saudi Arabia. The Video shows an amazing footage of a flying black horse caught on camera during a lighting thunder storm in Jeddah (not Mekkah) in Saudi Arabia, causing widespread sharing among some people who saw the video. This video has led many Muslims into falsely believing this to be a miracle from Allah (SWT).

The Truth:
Unfortunately, this video is a hoax. The video is actually of a horse shaped balloon which got detached from its placement due to the lighting storm conditions in Saudi Arabia that day. If you see the video carefully, you will notice that the horse doesn’t have wings (which is quite essential to fly) and the horse’s shape seems to be stagnant throughout the video (neither the position of the legs nor the tail seems to be moving). You can also see in the comparison picture above that the shape of the horse in the video and the horse on display in the shop are both the same.

We at iJunoon request our viewers to share this article to educate the public about this hoax.

Karachi Airport Satellite Image

Karachi Airport Satellite Image showing destroyed airplane is not image taken after attack on Karachi airport.

Please look at the bottom of the picture in this image, which is from 17 November 2013 you can check this date on Google Earth. Also, the aircraft in the image that seems destroyed was in fact an old PIA 747 (AP-BFY), which was scrapped/dismantled after being retired.

How to find the capture date of Satellite Images

If you wish to know the date when satellites captured those aerial images that you now see in Google Maps, you will have to use Google Earth for that (for some reason, these dates aren’t displayed on the Google Maps website).

Launch the Google Earth program, search for any location and zoom in as much as possible. You should see the capture date of that image in the status bar as highlighted in the above screenshot.

Heartbreaking Photo Of Syrian Orphan

The picture was widely shared with a description saying it's photogrpah of a boy sleeping between the graves of his parents who were killed in Syria.

The child is pretending to be asleep. Those are not graves. This is not Syria. it was actually a staged photo taken as part of an art project and the orphan was not an orphan but the photographer Abdul Aziz al Otaibi's nephew, and the image itself was actually taken in Saudi Arabia.
