tere jesa mera bhi haal tha na sukoon tha na qarar tha
ye ho umr thee mere humnashen ke kisi ko mujh se bhi pyar tha

mein samajh raha hon teri kasak tera mera dard hai mushtarak
isi gam ka to bhi aseer hai isi gam ka mein bhi shikar tha

faqat ek dhun thee ke raat din isi khawab zaar mein gum rahen
wo surror aisa surror tha wo khumar aisa khumar tha

kabhi lamha bhar ki guftugo meri os ke sath na ho saki
mujhe fursaten na mil saken wo hawa ke rath pe sawar tha

hum ajeeb tarz ke log thay hamare aur hi rog thay
mein khizan mein tha os ka muntazir ose intezar bahar tha

ose parh ke tum na samajh sake ke meri kitab ke roop mein
koi qarz tha kaii roz ka kaii ratjagon ka odhaar tha

Hansne ke baad kyon rulati hai duniya,
Jaane ke baad kyon bulati hai duniya,
Zindage mein kuch kasar baaki thi,
jo marne ke baad jalati hai duniya!

Haqeeqat jaan lo bichad jaane se pehle,
Meri sun lo apni sunaane se pehle,
Ye soch lena bhulane se pehle,
Bahut royi hain ye aankhein muskurane se pehle!

In my life I learned how to love to smile to be happy to be strong to work hard to be honest to be faithful to forgive but I couldn't learn how to stop rembering you.

It takes half our life to find true friends and half of it keeping them. I am lucky to have spent less than half my life finding you and wish to spend the rest keeping you.
